What is Reiki?
Reiki is a natural, simple energy balancing and healing technique. The meaning of the word Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is Universal Life Force Energy. "Universal" meaning it is within everything and everyone.  “Life Force Energy” is always flowing around and within us, along pathways called Chakras or Meridians,  in our physical and energetic bodies. 

Sometimes our energy becomes disrupted or blocked due to stress, other emotional issues and/or physical conditions. Reiki helps to clear, balance and support your energy.  Allowing for the body to return to it's optimal state so that healing (on all levels) can occur. 

As an Usui Reiki Master, I will assist you in mending the disruptions or clearing the blockages in your Energy; resulting in healing on a physical, mental, emotional and/or spiritual level.

What you can expect:

Reiki is completely painless and discrete. I use a technique  that combines light touch; generally around the head, arms, legs and feet, and without direct touch;  placing my hands over or above specific areas of the body.

• Clients remain fully clothed and can choose from a seated or laying down position. 

I am intuitively guided to integrate traditional Usui hand positions  with healing intentions, and Chakra balancing & healing techniques. 

• Crystals, therapeutic grade essential oils, sage, and sound healing may be utilized during the session, at no extra cost.  
• Oracle card reading to assist you on the next step in your journey may be utilized at the beginning or end of a session, at no extra cost.

Experiences vary from person to person; but clients have described feeling calm, relaxed, refreshed, revitalized and recharged after Reiki treatments.  

• Many clients have expressed feeling more connected to their higher self and their guides after Reiki.  
• Messages that come through either to the client directly or channeled through me, have had positive impact  in the process of releasing and healing, implementing new change or new beginnings, and supporting a sense of well-being.

Reiki Sessions:

Sessions can be scheduled individually or purchased as a package.  Trust yourself in knowing when is the right time to schedule the initial or follow up session.  

However as a seasoned Reiki healer, I would suggest scheduling several sessions for more chronic issues or specific goals. 

• I offer packages to reduce the cost of investing in several healing sessions and also offer Reiki + Coaching for an integrative way of creating change in your life! 

Distance Reiki via Zoom or phone.  

Energy flows to the receiver as they sit or lay down comfortably and safely in their own home for Distance Reiki.  

• Yes, healing happens and messages come through!  I actually find that I receive more messages and clarity during Distance Reiki sessions.  (Seems a little magical or woo woo, but that is the nature of energy--not bound by time and space) 
• Every person is unique, so your experience will be unique to you.  But when you are energetically open to receiving Reiki and notice the subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) sensations, thoughts, messages, and images that appear during your session, you will receive what you are needing. 
• Just like with in-person Reiki, the time of Distance Reiki should be honored as a special time just for you.  Quiet your phone and put work and other demands on hold. Make this time just for you. 
• Also, just like in-person Reiki, Distance Reiki healing occurs not only during the Distance Reiki session but also after the session.  It's still important to drink lots of water after a session and make time for quiet reflection after the session.   Notice what unfolds for you in the hours or days after a session. 

Yes, I also offer Reiki for Kids (toddlers to teens)!  I recommend in-person Reiki for toddlers to teens and a parent must be present.  For more info head to the Reiki for Kids tab.
