I am actively licensed to provide counseling services (as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) in the state of Illinois and do so under my River's Journey Counseling practice.  However, while providing content and services under the River's Journey Wellness, LLC, umbrella, I will be providing services that are separate from River's Journey Counseling and not clinically therapeutic in nature.  I am not offering, advertising or providing services as a counselor/ therapist under River's Journey Wellness, LLC.   

At times, coaching and counseling clients may seem similiar, however, there are  clients who may not be appropriate for coaching/Holistic Wellness services, such as, but not limited to: individuals who are experiencing active substance use disorder, severe mental health disorders and conditions, and suicidal or homicidal thoughts and ideations. I will refer River's Journey Wellness' clients to an appropriate healthcare practitioner, including a psychiatrist, psychologist or other licensed mental health provider,  should the need arise.  

By voluntarily continuing to participate in reading/reviewing the River's Journey Wellness, LLC, website/blog/ newsletters/email or engaging in phone/video interactions and by voluntarily participating  in any Reiki, Intuitive Coaching, Holistic Wellness, Energy Events, Self-Paced program or any other offered services; you acknowledge that I am not acting as your licensed healthcare or mental health  professional and that my services at River's Journey Wellness, LLC, are not meant to replace the assessment, diagnosis, and care of a licensed healthcare or mental health practitioner.   

Services such as "coaching", Holistic Wellness, Intuitive Coaching, Intuitive Services and Reiki is no way to be construed or substituted as medical advice, psychiatric or psychological care or a therapeutic alliance.  All participants are encouraged to seek out medical advice, psychiatric, psychological and mental health support and/ or  care as needed.  

I will strive to provide ethical and  confidential services. I will try to utilize my best professional efforts, skills, and care at River's Journey Wellness. However, I can not guarantee the outcome of my Reiki, Intiuitive Coaching, Holistic Wellness, Energy Events, Self-Paced programs or other offered services efforts. My comments about potential outcomes are expressions of my opinion only.  I can not make any guarantees other than to attempt to deliver the services as described.   I also can not guarantee that the content I create or report on is always error-free. I may make occasional errors and  will strive to correct my errors as I come across errors.
